Personal Profile

I am divorced after 1 1/2 years of seperation. I have three grown children. The oldest is married and has two children, Gabrielle and Isabella. Gaby is great,. She is loved by everyone. She'll be four years old in April. Isabella is intense! While visiting recently, I was in the car next to Izzy. She was content to sit and look into my eyes for 10 to 15 minutes! She was looking deep into my soul, and I knew that I never wanted to do anything to let her down. I am completely awed by the experience.

My days are usually spent working on something. If not at my main job, then I have other projects to help keep me busy. I work 40 hours per week at my employer's, and then I do some computer and network maintenance, and now I'm spending more time setting up and maintaining websites.

Most saturday nights are spent playing. Three or four guys from work and I meet online and fly WWII planes and jets against eachother. The goal is to be the last one flying. It is a blast! In the course of an evening, we'll each be shot down 15 or 20 times.

Bicycling is fun. For me, it is about putting in at least 20 miles per ride, and preferrably 40 miles or more. With the weather in the Seattle area it is not always easy to be motivated to get out there. In the summertime, it is an early morning ride for me, and in the winter, an afternoon ride is best.

On June 8th 2008 I had a heart attack. I wrote a letter to everyone to explain what happened. Many people expressed appreciation for that letter.
